Drivers United?

Truck Drivers United is a FREE website
that has been built
specifically
for the purpose of uniting America's Truck Drivers by
giving them a single location where they can log on 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year and
communicate with other drivers through the driver
feedback sections of the site.
Talking on the C.B. at truck stops or while going down
the road about the problems in the trucking industry is
common place these days, and in all honesty, it has been
for a long time.
Unfortunately, that isn't solving anything.
The drivers you talked to yesterday are long gone now, and
chances are, you'll probably never run across them again.
That's the problem. We all communicate on the C.B., and sometimes in
person at a truck stop, or at a shipper's or a consignee's dock, and
many times we agree on the problems with the trucking industry, but
without a central location where drivers can communicate with one
another on a regular basis, the problems CAN'T and WON'T
be fixed.

What does it cost to become part of Truck Drivers
United? |
|
NOTHING! Although I will gladly accept any
donations to help out, at this time, I am paying for all
costs to run this website out of my own pocket. I run
three other websites that I sell adult products on, and
I use the profits I make from those websites, and the
money I earn driving to pay for this website.
I do not want to offend anyone, so if you are offended
by adult websites, please DON'T visit the adult sites.
If you do visit adult websites or purchase adult
products and marital aids, I do ask for your help and
support by visiting my other sites and consider
purchasing products from them. You will get quality
products and services from suppliers such as Adam and
Eve, Penthouse, Playboy, Hustler and more, and help
support this site in the process.
Why do I pay for everything out of my own pocket?
Because I am full time, OTR driver myself. I've been
driving for over 25 years, and I plan to keep driving
for another 10 or maybe 20 years or more.
I use to like driving trucks, and I still do, but I
see too many problems in the trucking industry that need
to be fixed, and I want to see them fixed while I'm
still on the road.
As far as advertising the site, if you would like to
purchase ball caps, T-shirts, or Polo shirts, let me
know and I will look for someone to make them.
If you want to make your own caps, shirts, business
cards, or anything else to help bring other drivers
together, feel free to do so, just please
be sure to include the website name and the phrase:

There is currently a page you can print out as a flyer,
make copies of it, and pass them out to other drivers at
truck stops, or pass them out to anyone else anywhere!
I will be looking into other methods of advertising this
site in the future, but for now the important thing is
getting drivers and their families to visit the site,
email us with suggestions and comments, and start
telling other drivers to log on and join together in
supporting the uniting of the American Truck Drivers. |

How to use this
website |

Each problem or issue where driver's want to see changes
made have been listed on an individual page in this
site. The pages are listed on the right. Simply click on
a topic, read what other drivers feel the problem is,
and read some of the suggested solutions. After that, go
to the 'Feedback' (or Contact Us) page and email your
comments. I will include them on a feedback page that I
will create for each topic. |

Why a Website? |

The internet is the most powerful communication tool
available to us today. By logging on any time and
anywhere, anyone can communicate and express their
concerns with every other individual that has access to
the internet.
What better way to provide a single, centralized
location for EVERY MAN & WOMAN in the
trucking industry to communicate than by taking
advantage of the internet? |

to tell us, and other drivers here |
|
If you have a solution to a particular problem, tell us
your solution. If you don't feel a particular issue we
haven't covered here yet is a problem that needs to be
fixed, then let us know. Whatever you feel is important
to you as a truck driver, let other drivers know by
emailing this site.
If YOU leave this
site and don't say or do anything more, then NOTHING
WILL EVER GET DONE!
Whether I agree with you or not doesn't matter, I will post
your feedback and comments. This site isn't for me, it's for ALL
American Truck Drivers to express their opinions and suggest possible
solutions to the problems we feel the industry is facing today. |

What
to tell other drivers on the road |
|
Simple. Just tell other drivers you found a FREE website
where you can give your opinion about anything that
affects the trucking industry. Heck, even if you want
to say this is a waste of time, write in and say so and
I'll post it... the only catch is since I am making an
effort to do something, I challenge you to tell other
drivers this site is a waste of time, and tell them to
log on and have them tell me I'm wasting my time too.
Why? If I can get a million drivers to tell me I'm
wasting my time on here, then guess what, I've got a
million drivers I can convince to stand together against
standing together... but either way, they will be
standing together and then maybe they'll stand together
for the right reasons. |

What about
other trucking sites? |
|
I know there are other websites for truckers, and
organizations such as OOIDA and ATA, but this site is
FOR the trucker and their family to write in about
anything they want, and it's 100% FREE, and it's for
company drivers, independent owner operators, lease
operators, and just about anyone else. You don't
even have to register or create a user name or password.
Anything drivers want to do, such as billboard
advertising, magazine advertising, or hiring delegates
to go to Washington DC and speak will have to be funded
through mutual agreement and donations... but that's
down the road. Right now the MOST IMPORTANT thing
is to TELL OTHER DRIVERS about www.TRUCKDRIVERSUNITED.com |
